The Basin

Small town living's tough when you don't conform to stereotypical notions of what's acceptable. Helderberg's the place to be if you're into sightseeing, wine tasting and rugby; but if you skate, roll or ride in any way that's against the main stream you're seen as trouble. Cruising the streets, you're bound to get caught by barbed comments hurled from otherwise upstanding citizens who don't have a clue about what you're doing. This is our life, it's what we sweat and bleed for – it’s not some anarchistic-misfit's big stand against society.
