Ghetto Jam 2009

Scores of disheveled looking BMXers recently descended on Durban's airport and bus stations, all waiting for Hank (from BMX Direct) to whisk away memories of their gruelingly long journeys and drop them jaw-first into a week of the most awesome riding ever experienced. Our chariot was a precariously crammed, old, green bakkie, which has been serving the BMX scene in South Africa for longer than I've been riding! This was the start of the third annual Ghetto Jam held at the Durban beach front skate park from the 12th to the 14th of December 2008.
