Alan Marola

For as long as I have been skateboarding, the name 'Alan Marola' has always been in my vocabulary. Whether it be a photo in a magazine or one of his banging video parts, you always find yourself impressed with what he brings to the table for South African skateboarding. Take that 17 stair 50-50 for example strait into the wall... "What the hell were you thinking man!?", and it is for this reason that Alan has earned himself the title of one of Cape Town’s and even South Africa's best skateboarders. At his age he has achieved more than most skateboarders in the country, by representing at the Damn Am Comp in America where he placed 7th. Alan is a really rad guy to shoot with; once he lands the trick planned for the shot he will always try something better just to push himself that much further.
