Jungle Rush Compound FMX Open Day #4 |
After 4 years of trials and tribulation, blood sweat and tears, Jungle Rush proudly presents our most anticipated Free Style Moto X open day to date; JRC FMX Open Day #4. Hosted and supported by local sponsors it is set to truly be a day of freestyle awe and exhilaration for both riders and spectators alike.
The focus of these events is to allow newcomers, amateur and junior FMX riders an opportunity to pick up new riding and jumping skills in a safe and controlled environment, facilitated by the guidance of pro level riders actively coaching and demonstrating the ‘tricks of the trade’. Pro level riders will be on hand to help coach during the course of the day on a one on one basis. The main aim of the day is to help any riders that are interested in developing jumping and tricking skills, however you can also expect to witness absolutely breathtaking tricks being busted out by some of S.A’s top FMX riders throwing down a show to be remembered.
South Africa’s largest and only commercially available free-ride and FMX training facility the Jungle Rush FMX Compound will undergo a complete face-lift with all dirt jumps re-shaped to give maximum rider and spectator value. JRC hosts a super cross track that loops around the FMX arena and offers a variety of 7 varied table-tops, 2 step-up table-tops and a double jump while the FMX arena has 12 steel ramps offering a variety of choices for all levels of riding.
This year see’s the introduction of a new enduro class “E-FMX “ that allows off-road and enduro riders a chance to learn how to control a bike in the air. These skills can only be truly appreciated once riders start clearing the dirt super X track table tops. If riders choose to attempt the slightly bigger steel to dirt gaps, pro-level riders will run them in at first to ensure the gap is cleared. This new concept is the brainchild of Matt King the owner of Dirt Nurse Cleaning Products and was initiated when he discovered that enduro riders were keen to learn to jump as he was. Building jumping skills all amounts to “practice makes perfect” as he discovered, so we urge all dirt riders out there to give it a try, it’s safe, it’s fun and it’ll most definitely improve your overall bike control skills. Come on down and join some of the enduro riders that have already learnt new skills and let them help you grow yours.
Whilst the day is set to be filled with adrenalin and extreme aerial acrobatics stunt riding from the pro-riders, pro-am’s and amateur’s alike, we welcome the whole family and have ensured that the facilities on hand allow people to enjoy first-class entertainment for everyone. There will be exhibiter and trade stands on display, a huge media presence, a food stand, bar, after party and live band with various promotional give-aways as well as lucky draws. You might be one of two lucky winners to get your hands on a HTC SNAP Smartphone.
This years event is set to be one of epic proportions! Miss it and miss out on an event that guarantees to have your eyes glued to the air... watching ‘supermen’. Come and join us for a day to remember.
